Description
Work. What adjectives pop into mind when you think of “work”?
Work fills a good portion of our everyday lives. Children and adults have work to do whether it is paid work or unpaid such as folding the laundry or making the bed. For various reasons that stem from movements in history to today’s culture, somehow God and work have become separated. We often consider activities such as prayer and reading the Bible as ones that God is most involved in and pleased with. Yet, a look at the Bible will reveal that God Himself is a worker, has designed us for work and has a deep value for our work. When we realize God cares greatly for our work and is in it, we can discover a whole new intimacy with God and find new meaning in our work, as we share the times we work, with Him.
This 12 lesson curriculum is designed as a free resource to teach children to see work through God’s perspective and learn that work is a good thing!
For each lesson the curriculum includes:
- A Large Group lesson
- Small group activities
- Slides to accompany the lesson
A Parent’s Take-Home Sheet to work through the lesson together during the week
• Most of a child’s understanding of God comes from a child’s parent/guardian. The time you spend together talking through who God is and living out these beliefs together as a family are invaluable, transforming and have potential to make eternal impact!

I help teach a class for adults with disabilities (mental & physical) and we have started your curriculum. It is a hit! Students (and teachers I dare say) are “getting it” in a fresh way, and having lots of fun in the process. Thank you for your work in putting this together. We are blessed by your wisdom and creativity.

This is so very very impressive. I’m impressed by the depth of work and the quality of the curriculum, especially it’s age-appropriate instruction. I’d be thrilled to recommend this to various groups and churches for use. Great work.
